Established in 1979, the NUS Students' Sports Club is currently into its 30th year of providing the NUS student population with a potpourri of sporting activities and an outlet for enriching their campus lives. We are endowed with the unique identity as one of the constituent clubs under the NUS Students' Union, which, together with our igneous determination, aids in our tireless promotion of a healthy lifestyle through recreational sports. We had come a long way from when we were first established. Certainly, we grown over the years, emerging now as a family of 25 member clubs, classified accordingly into Land Sports, Water Sports, Indoor Sports and Martial Arts.

Other than our activities within campus, we are also enthusiastic in pushing this sporting spirit through to the general public. Throughout the years, we had spearheaded numerous Sports Club Projects which had grown to become trademark events even in the eyes of the public, amongst which are the Run NUS, NUS Biathlon, and the NUS Sports Camp. These events had seen to participation not only from NUS students and staff, but also from tertiary institutes, our valued alumni, and numerous other participants throughout Singapore and beyond.

Despite our achievements, the NUS Students' Sports Club will continue the spirit of our predecessors and strive for improvement in achieving our mission and vision. We will constantly seek to cater for the athletes in all of us, be they amateur or experienced, who are looking for the excitement and enjoyment embodied in recreational sports.
